During the school year, we will regularly post articles and other resources by a variety of authors and organizations regarding cutting-edge resources and best practices in eduction, teaching and learning. We will pay particular attention to those sources that reference cognitive and socio-emotional development of children 3-12 years of age in the Montessori environment.
The article below ('Searching for roots of entrainment and joint action in early musical interactions') is authored by one of our parents, Jessica Phillips-Silver, PhD (mother of Elle -). Her progressive neuroscience research interests have lent themselves to a number of thought provoking pieces and we invite you review the article and share with other parents and friends. Enjoy and stay tuned!!
