Sing Along with Gabo & Mate at SSMA Obama Auditorium

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at SSMA Obama Auditorium, we are welcoming the incredible Gabo and Mate from Teatro de la Luna to our school for a free, joyful bilingual sing-along that your little ones are going to love. Think live music, puppets, rhythm, instruments, and the kind of playful audience participation that has kids laughing and moving from the very first song. It is a beautiful, natural way for children to experience Spanish, and it is going to be a morning to remember.
This event is open to everyone, and we hope you will bring someone with you. Think of a neighbor, coworker, friend from the park…anyone with young children who has been curious about bilingual education or Montessori learning. Let them see our community in action.
We have open spots for the 2026–2027 school year, and there is no better introduction to who we are than a room full of singing, laughing children and the families who love this school.

The vision of the founders of Shining Stars Montessori Academy is one that seeks to alter the educational outcomes of children living in Washington, DC, thereby positioning them for future success. In keeping with our mission, we will strive to nurture the genius of all the children who come through our doors, guiding them in the principles of the Montessori approach.
